Nerve entrapment lesions
Different nerve entrapments of the lower limb exist: sciatic, pudendal, superior and inferior gluteal, obturator, femoral, lateral femoral cutaneous, ilioinguinal, iliohypogastric and genitofemoral nerves.
A comprehensive history, clinical examination and special investigations are necessary to make the correct diagnosis.

- Muscle relaxants
- Neuroleptics
- Physiotherapy
- Guided nerve blocks or steroid injections.
Conservative treatment usually improves symptoms. If the symptoms are disabling or not responding to conservative treatment surgery may be considered.
